while I do not approve of what he did, I very much approve of his motives. I find it discusting how our troops were treated after the war. I doubt any of them wanted to be there...and most of the soldiers were lied to about why they were even there. Despite this, they did what their leaders told them to do and gave their lives for it. I think that anyone who disrespects a soldier is discusting. I'm not pro-military...I would never join the armed forces because I do not want to be controlled by this country...but the soldiers didnt know what they were doing. They were just following orders. If people feel the need to spit in anyone's faces, it should be the politicians that ordered the involvement in vietnam(or Korea, or Iraq, or whatever you disaprove of).

Dont go after soldiers just because they're easy targets.

But at least they never activly did PR stuff for an enemy during a war, Fonda sat in an AA gun that was only used to shoot down Americans and mimicked shooting with it, and other stuff that was equally reprehensable yet she never apologized for her actions.
