And what the HELL was the shit that churned out "Battlefield Vietnam".

I don't know the story of it, but it wasn't DICE sweden.

And C&C generals was crap. It didn't provide anything innovative. Same old RTS, same crappy way.

Oh and, if anyone knows...
When they released Everquest 2, a "Made for Nvidia" product, some of the 6xxx series cards would stutter hard on EQ2. Hell, SLI wouldn't work either. Yeah, I know, maye not be Nvidia's fault, but there seriously was a lack of communication.

Oh and EA makes crappy LOTR junk.

Also, name a publisher that is more ruthless than EA. Other than maybe VU. And why.
Carnt agree with u more dude !

Ea take a nice games like BF1942 and NFSHP2 and F***s them up! and LOTR has got to be the worst game series ever the gameplay is shit the grafics look like something from 1999 and they all run like shit because of crap Grafic and bad file systems and not ot mention the loading times ooooooooh dont get me started on the save games !

YO EA WTF IS THE PIXEL SHADERS ITS 2005 HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!U STUPID DONKEY F***S

Actually Geforce 6 series is built for DoomIII whereas Hl2 is built with ATI in mind.

anyways its sucks that ATI dudes wont experience HDR with the new level(Loast Cost in hl2). bwahah then again its going to be released probably during the unveiling of r520

yes ATI finally got their dick and brain together and incoparated SM3.0 along with HDR and all the fancy stuff that already is on Nv geforce 6xxx.

ATI and NV next gen will still have 16AF as max i think..

In computer graphics and cinematography, high dynamic range imaging (HDRI for short) is a set of techniques that allow a far greater dynamic range of exposures than normal digital imaging techniques. The intention is to accurately represent the wide range of intensity levels found in real scenes, ranging from direct sunlight to the deepest shadows.

For example, this gives the opportunity to shoot a scene and have total control of the final imaging from the begining to the end of your photography project. A concrete example would be that it gives you the possibility to re-expose. Basically, it is like being on set of location and capture the widest information as possible and choose after what you want. (JGWill-2004)

Hmm that sucks ! Ati should have implimented that technology Ages ago ex. in the x800 series ! but now they are gonna bring out a budget breacking beast! which i carnt buy because it will be too expensive for me !

hmm eventoly ill upgrade to a Nvidia 6xxx series and get an extra stick of DDR Generic Ram ! maybe for my next Birthday next year !

Ati can do HDR but it is a different kind of implimentation. They plan on adding HDR to HL2 so youll probably see it in action there.
