Comon, I buy a X800XT HIS ICEQ II and the fan rattles.... I return it and get another and the fan dies after 3 weeks... Right now I'm on a damn little PC just waiting for my card that has been RMA'd (cuz the fuckin shop only takes back products in the first 5 days) and well, I bought guild wars expecting to play it and can't!!!! On my laptop, I get 10 frames and after 15mn, BSOD. I fuckin hate this... HIS has really cool cards but 2 cards and two shitty ones? Comon, they better either fix my X800XT real good or upgrade it to a X850XTPE!!!! God damn it...

I'm sure they're gonna somewho either send me back a X800 SE 12 pipes or a PCI-Express version (I got AGP for the moment) and i'll have to spend my whole fuckin vacations on this laptop just browsing DH like some grim reaper... Grrrrrr

you are not the only one.. however i had problems with ATI. my friend bough two AIWx800xt directly from ATI store. so when it came he tested them both and one gave him currupt desktop basically artifacts all over so he RMA'ed it on 4/20 or somewhere near that date and ATI received it 4/25 and it took them about 3-4 weeks to fix the card. According to them they "replaced" major components of the card. and i just received the card today.

Right now everything is working fine except i am getting crap frames in CS Source. maybe because i havent installed the chipset drivers correctly and right now i just installed WinXP MCE 2005

anyways so i am hoping i would get a good boost from the geforce 6800 i had before.

btw good luck on getting a good card..

Anyways, the guy told me 3 weeks normally so it better be that cuz i finish school in a 2 weeks...

And the best thing would be to get my 3dcard back so I can enjoy the vacations before my summer job starts....

6 weeks working on computers, making up for 3200 $... I can maybe build a whole new PC with that

okay, so week 4 and still no card. I went to the shop and no go and tried to make a bargain, but still no go (i asked if i could just take another X800XT and they keep mine but their policy doesn't allow it)

okay so instead of whining, i'll tell people what i'm doing instead of playing games at max graphics.

So today was my last day of school (i'm in high school... 11th) and well, i normally still have school tomorrow but i'm skiping it. More on that later

So i got up at 6 30 in the morning as usual, brushed, took a shower, watched the news (ITV and Sky... All about jackson

) and had a crap breakfast. Then, i walked to my bustop to get to school to suffer for many hours.

surprisingly, the day went fast and I found out I had the necessary points to pass the year, which I wasn't that sure about cuz I had been one hell of a lazy ass this year. All went well, not much following in class but hell.

So the morning went fast more or less (from 8 15 to 12 40) and I then had lunchtime but i didn't have any money so i bought a bar of chocolate and ate that. was cool and chatted with the girls in my class, which was also cool.

next, i had biology which was just lamesville and then chemistry which ruled! we made sorbets with the use of liquid nitrogen which was tons of fun

!!! Bah, after that my geo teacher just did a small speach and let us off early.

Since I had nothing to do, I went to the shop that is supposed to get my 3dcard and what a surprise, nothing. i also asked them about a pro duo memstick for my PSP 1 giga and it's only 190 which is not bad at all!

Gotta go back there when I got money.

Apart from that, came home, been playing SNES emulators on this laptop cuz it can do nothing.

Now why aren't I going to school tomorrow? Well I got my summer job and well, I'd am officially allowed to skip 20 periods per year so tomorrow, i'll use up 5 more. Got a party tomorrow night but dunno if i'll go... We'll see!

You see how bored I am? Talking about my life in the FW...

Shit, this makes me worry about my HIS X800XL card..

I've replaced the arctic silencer on it with a Zalman VF700Cu, because it interfered with my chipset hsf on my motherboard. If it breaks i'm toast...
