Mr Bush compared his slip to US Tour de France competitor David Zabriskie who crashed in the final moments of Tuesday's stage but admitted "he's a better rider".The president blamed a rigorous work-out and the damp conditions as he appeared at an early press call with Tony Blair.

He said: "When you ride a mountain bike, sometimes you fall, otherwise you are not riding hard. The pavement was slick and the bike came off underneath me." His concern, he said, was for the Strathclyde officer adding: "I talked to him. He is doing fine." In May last year Mr Bush crashed his bike on his ranch. In 2002, he famously fainted and toppled off his sofa in the White House when he choked on a pretzel and in June 2003, he fell off a scooter at his estate in Maine.

I know that everybody has their own opinions about these kinds of things, but all that I ask is that you have enough respect for the office of the presidency to refrain from things like this.

Anyways, along the lines of my opinion..I fail to see how falling off of a bike makes him a dumbass. I know i've done it before. If that makes me a dumbass in your eyes then I really feel sorry for you.

although i disagree with many of his policies, think he has too much of a fucking resemblance to a monkey, say some of the stupidest things (remember pakistanis are pakis, which is actually a racist term) and his agenda sounds too fishy, simply bumping into a copper while riding your bike does not make him any more of an idiot that he already is. it was a mistake that anyone could of made, but no doubt is it funny to see someone well known to do that.

However, the facts say different:

1. Graduated from Yale with better grades than the 'intellectual' John (the Viet Nam 'war hero') Kerry.

2. Harvard MBA.

3. Flew the F-102 supersonic jet fighter.

4. Elected leader (2 times) of the most powerful and influential nation on the earth.

Now, how about YOUR qualifications?

1. Have you graduated from any institution of 'higher education' with at least a Masters degree? (I'll even accept it if it was just something like Underwater Basketweaving)

2. Have you learned to fly ANY type of aircraft, supersonic or otherwise? (paper airplanes do not count)

3. Have you been elected leader for ANYTHING? (Shucks, I'll even count 'Class Idiot' for that one)

Finally, if you are so worried about American politics, why don't you hook up the dogsled, come across the border (we do have enough snow in some of the northern states in the winter for you to 'cross over'), become a US citizen, and actually work to make a difference, instead of just shooting off your mouth in a forum on the internet?

I have a story that I could tell too, it was about my trip to Canada. It goes like this:

We are visiting parts of New York and eastern Canada on a family vacation. While eating in a seafood restaurant on the coast (In Canada, mind you) my dad inspects the menu, and seeing the price of crab at $22+, remarks "That's awful expensive for crab, I woulda thought they were practically jumping out of the water" (a commonly used phrase, and the climate and time of year was right for them). The waitress looks confused, and says "No sir, They dont do that."

I could do the same thing you do, and judge every Canadian by that waitress...but I'm not that ignorant.

So basically because the man had an accident on his bike he's a moron, just like all of those professional bikers in france right now, many that also have fallen on the Tour de France, if the professionals fall occaisionally, then I would have to assume that an amatuer wouldn't be an idiot for falling.

As far as him being an idiot, he still graduated from both Yale and Harvard, two of the oldest, most respected, and difficult universities in the country, i wouldn't say that ayone who graduated from there is an idiot. His biggest problem is that he has a southern/Texan accent, which sounds dumb, but accent doesn't have anything to do with actual intellegence, or ability to lead etc.

Besides if you really and truly have this massive of a problem with President Bush, you can move down here, become a US citizen and vote on someone else.

As far as him being an idiot, he still graduated from both Yale and Harvard, two of the oldest, most respected, and difficult universities in the country, i wouldn't say that ayone who graduated from there is an idiot.
