I aint runnin out to get it right now (or at any point today) but I'll probably pick it up after my trip and check it out. Or I'll borrow it from someone in my family (THEY ARE all running out to get it)

so whats the deal? I mean its not groundbreaking literature but its some decent entertainment. Why do you guys hate it so? Do you actually hate harry potter or do you hate the hype?

i hate both, the kid looks stupid and the movie was boring. i was happy when LOTR came out and crushed it the week after

Hmm, as much as I don't understand why adults are waiting in line in the middle of the night to get the new book I don't hate harry potter. If there are ppl that enjoy it then good for them, I haven't seen or read any of it and I am not going to. I prefer books that aren't targetted at kids...

Besides, Harry Potter contains hidden subliminal messages to make people worship SATAN!!! No, really...

i admit to finding the first film rather entertaining if in the right frame of mind but now that they're all teenagers its just sort of strange. i suppose it is meant for kids tho. as for the adults waiting outside of bookstores at midnight to buy a childrens book: LoL
