figure i'd give it my best go by starting this thread in here since apparently i've begun a trend with my posts becoming closed after a minute or two.

what the hell is going on in here? do we really need this many moderators? each one deciding what is viewable and what isnt by their own terms.

aren't we getting away from what this site was originally intended for? the only reason i even registered was so i could respond with my own feedback after using a leaked vid driver or testing out a new omegatonium. during the downtime between releases there was a place to post miscellaneous content (within reason of course)...but the forums are now becoming neutered.

so what's next? when do 'we' start resorting to name calling?

perhaps some of 'you' are having a bad day, maybe 'your' boss at work pissed 'you' off today, maybe 'your' husband/wife doesn't listen to 'you' anymore, maybe 'you' got cut off in traffic..whatever..'you' can always come in here and show off 'your' new censoring powers...maybe that will make 'you' happy.

i'm not hiding behind any first amendment bullshit. 'you' want to ban, edit, remove me...go right ahead. its 'your' site, i didn't pay to join it.

this isnt a place to clog it up with retarded, unintelligable posts. i'm not pretending to be bill hicks. its 'your' house, 'you' don't want me here then show me the door.

nah. you know what? its not that funny anymore...it wouldnt be able to live up to the hype now.

all is well and i don't take it personally. it just shows how healthy this site has become...if we didn't have members that pushed the envelope and test out the boundries we wouldn't grow any.
