Prank call gone terribly wrong

well i spent the night at my friends house on friday night and at 3 a.m. we decide to do a prank call... so we call up a guy and do our prank call... his last name was "Gay". So at the end we laugh and forget about it. But he doesnt... he calls back 3 times after that wanting to talk to my friend. Stupid caller-id. So now they feel in danger and they called the cops to take care of it. And i got grounded. I still don't know how long.

Hmmm.... the phrase pen-is comes to mind, *good idea* don't make a prank call when you have caller id, *better idea* don't make prank calls, they're lame.

...*69 is your friend here in the US, it blocks caller ID screening on the other end.

Um DIG........*69 is auto call back....so lets say that you miss a call.... then you hit *69 to find out who called you... *67 is what blocks caller id.

I used to work as a overnight manager supporting a large uk retailers website & digi channel, had obsecene caller phone one of my staff, I caught his phone number, & phoned him up & confronted him, he became very abusive, so I told him, i was going to inform the police & I had the power to jam his phone line & would do so if he persisted, guess what he persisted, I rang him back he hung up! In Uk if someone hangs up on you & you don't put the receiver down they cannot phone out the only person they can talk to is you lol...so I left his line jammed till 6am..he picked up the phone a few times during night & muttered(we put the line on loudspeaker) obsenities, & put it back down!

He never called again, & my staff were more confident dealing with dodgy phone calls( by end of first hour of him trying his phone repeatadly they were in fits)

Don't make dodgy phone calls, cause it hurts ppl & its too easy to get caught in this day and age!

best is still phoning pub asking for amanda hugankiss, in which case hope there not a simpsons fan!

That was in response to Dig telling you that *69 was your caller id blocking friend...so actually, and literally you said you believed in the wrong thing, and never claimed to know about *67. So no, I was not being a dumbass.
