The racqueteers---errr---banks of the world

Ugh...I hate banks.

I'm sick, so i forgot to go to the bank yesterday(damned tylenol nighttime) and deposit my check, and I knew I had enough to cover the blockbuster bill, which would be going through.

but no, blockbuster raised their fee and so I went over by $2, and was smacked with a $30 overdraft fee. Fair enough, i suppose. BUT...

the $30 overdraft takes effect IMMEDIATELY(none of this 'clears at midnight' crap like EVERYTHING else, bills, deposits, etc), so that through my balance int he negative even further, so i had to race my ass up to the bank today, with the cold from hell, and make my deposit, and now on top of that, I get to beg my mother for money to pay the cell phone bill since after that late fee I can't do that either.

I dunno if I'm more pissed at banks for processing fees immediately, and holding deposits for up to 3 days.....or if I'm mad at blockbuster for quietly hiking the monthly fees for their customers like me....

Either way...it sucks

after thinking it over, this is blockbuster's fault...and after talkign to them, it's DEFINATELY their fault...the assistant manager didn't even know it had changed
