I hate shopping at this time of year

seems like absolutely everybody is out to screw you in every way they can.

I was just trying to buy a lil mp3 player for an xmas pressy

the thing weighs 45 grams!!

no power adapter, instruction book etc, just the player and the driver cd, so 100grams top weight.

my cheapest postal option was £8.00!!!! ($15.00)

I don't live on any far flung island, up a mountain or anything.
I'm next to one of the biggest cities in the uk, so there's none of that orkney isles bullshit to used as an excuse.

yesterday I was shopping on a different site which promised free shipping if I spent X ammount.
I spent 3 times that, and got my order comfirmation today.

estimated delivery date: "30th December - 17th January".

xmas is stressfull enough without having to put up with bs like this!!

Try getting an xbox 360 for the MSRP. Good luck. Wait a few months.

As for the shipping thing on ebay, they do that to avoid the ebay fees.

THATS ANOTHER BLOODY SHOP TRYING TO RIP ME OFF!!!

Wanted £15 ($30) for standard delivery for a small order!

And on top of that, they've re-drawn the map of GB.

Apparantly Aberdeen is in the highlands these days, thus justifying their ridiculous postage cost!!

time for the old 'letting off a shotgun in the back garden and telling the kids that xmas is cancelled cos you just shot Santa' trick.
