Ok time for another ranting.
I ordered a whole dj package, turntables, mixer, headphones and all
Courier arrives at the door yesterday, drops of a large box, i sign, the van drives off into the distance

I look at the box "package 1 of 2"

And i think to myself "F*CK"

The idiot courier left almost $600 worth of stuff in the van while she drove off

I call up the postal service, they tell me to wait until the end of the day incase the courier realises it hasn't been delivered.

Come 5PM still no delivery

Call up this morning. They have no f*cking idea where the rest of my gear is

bad time of year to buy anything.

my fiancee bought my main xmas present 4 times already.
we keep getting fucked about by various companies.

she tells me she ended up paying an extra £150 over and above just to get my pressy delivered in time for xmas

better be worth it...

I remember good ol' FedEx delivering me a few packages over a week or so then one never showed due to "incorrect address".

I called them and had them pull up the other ones they had delivered a few days ago and had them compare those to the one that wasn't delivered because of an "incorrect address". I was lucky I caught them because usually they will send your gear back where it came from.

Funny thing is FedEx customer service will not give you the telephone # to the physical carrier|warehouse where your product is. I had to dig to find that.

I use plain old UPS now and everything gets here fine.

I work at UPS, and from what I've seen your lucky to have gotten anything at all. We drop kick, punt, throw, slide, slap, punch, slide, and smash your box to fit or just for fun sometimes. I'd say buy the insurance or don't ship it at all. Also don't put words like Fragile, glass, this way up on the box because as soon as we see it we make sure the opposite is being done.

Drivers make around 30 hr and are protected by the union at work so they are entitled to not give a shit about your package. If you know your getting a package, wait outside and head them off.

360's aren't defective because of Microsoft, they are defective because of UPS
