i really love rpg games (cross between diablo(getting weapons and shields etc from fallen enemies, getting money) and tombraider(third person))

i want to know about any more titles (singleplayer)
here are some, that ive alrede played

fable lost chapter
Star wars KOTOR 1 and 2
Crusaders of Might and Magic

(not GTA) -

anymore titles (i really want to play guild wars and everquest but both are multiplayer)

i think Oblivion is one of them....can somebody plz confirm this i never played the series

ok the criteria is this
game must be

3rd person
money collecting - buy armor and stuff from stores
get weapons
can include magic spells
portions
skill upgrade(just added)

how many are there, can you plz list them i know of only two Oblivion and the one before.....called.....i cant remember

Oblivion is, indeed, scheduled for release in the U.S. on March 20th.

But, if you haven't already played Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, and its add-ons, you need to get the GOTY edition and start. Wide open spaces, with nearly limitless exploration.

Combat = Yes
Exploration = Yes
Thievery = Yes
Scrolls, Potions, and other Magica = Yes
Skill Level Boost = Yes

And much, much more.

EDIT: We were posting at the same time...missed your previous two posts.

Morrowind and the addons allow for 3rd Person view AND switch to FPV ingame.

Barter with Vendors = YES! YES! YES!

EDIT 2: Morrowind, BloodMoon, and Tribunal. They are all included on the GOTY edition that you can get from your local Wal-Mart or about anywhere video games are sold. Latest price I saw at W.M. was $19.99 for GOTY.

just noticed you said 3rd person. no clue if stalker allows for 3rd person.

another game that just came to mind, and again i dont know if it supports 3rd person, is HellGate London. its supposed to be a shooter/RPG hybrid, and its being made by all the folks that left Blizzard and formed their own studio. most of everyone that left was involved with Diablo and Diablo 2, so the game should be about as addictive as D2 was.

You get the official Elder Scrolls III games. There are previous ones to III.

EDIT: Oh, and The Longest Journey is an Adventure game. Not what you're looking for, I believe. It's more like Syberia and Syberia II.

EDIT 2: To clarify, Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is the full title of the upcoming game.

You may want to give the Gothic series a try, its just like those games, and it quite fun (Demo available as well). If you like Diablo, try Sacred, its the exact same, but with better graphics. Very fun. Over all though, if you haven't played the Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind, you really have to get it. When Oblivion comes out, that is a must as well.

Guild Wars is great too, even though it is multiplayer. No monthly fee, great game play, interesting premise, the only MMO style game I play.

NWN and DS 1 are really good games. With NWN II coming out this year hopefully, It's going to to be an extremely delightful year for RPG'ers and FPS'ers. Medal Of Honor: Airborne, PREY, STALKER of course, hopefully the game isnt going away forever, TimeShift, Halflife 2: Aftermath Episode 1. Maybe I'm to much into games, maybe I should finally find out what "outside" looks like. *peeks out window* Nevermind...

Guildwars totally. the new chapter is right around the corner if your interested i have 3 free passes to the March 24th Event to visit the new contient Canthia! there is currently 1 campane called Prohicies new one is called Factions. unlike other MMO i think guildwars forces you to take help with you so you dont have to solo everything your self. i reccomend it. Tons and Tons of game play. if you find out that teh RP side isnt for you in it you can just PVP and unlock your skill via Faction points. lots of people do that and are pretty good. im a RP person so iv gone threw the game once already and im currently working on my [color=seagreen]necromancer/ranger[/color] at the momment!

lol dungon siege... game was like dry i thought pretty cool but dry i duno what the deal was but i just never got hooked on it even though they had cool weapons guildwars had better spells and professions!

I wasn't all that fond of Dungeon Siege 1. I finished it, but, it was just too 'confining' to suit my taste. I like exploring a bit and DS 1 was like: take 5 steps; fight; take 5 steps; fight; take 5 more steps; fight some more.
