Liked ending in f.e.a.r.

The game itself had some good moments and lots of so so moments. Had to take a break before going back and finishing. But am I the only one that found the ending fantastic? That was the most enjoyable ending I can remember (sure beat hiding in some hard to find corner and killing the big boss) - the shock of the surreal kill blew me away and the rest was like a lsd.

I just finished the game two days ago and I couldnt agree more. It's one of the best ending in gaming in the last couple of years. Not like in most FBS, there arent a lot of action at the end. Instead, the atmosphere kicked in and it keep you on your edge of you seat.

The ending was probably the best part of the game. It's a fun game but the end when I saw it was: Oh Sh**.

Now, by 'ending' are you referring to pre-credits or post-credits?

(In case any of you aren't aware, there's still some brief dialogue after all those credits finish rolling. )

It was a very intense ending. The end sequence, with the blast or whatever it was, was very cinematic. I wish the rest of the game was the same.

Crap, I didn't know. Luckily I still have my final game save. And actually by ending I meant the last quite a bit (from the shooting of paxton on).

whoooooo good news yo

FEAR was an awsome game personally i liked it better than doom3. though the game kept you on guessing wtf was gona happen next all the time the major changes between senarios was awsome. the changes around you and the way the enviroment reacted felt like you were playing threw the matrix or something.

good news for you guys who dont already know but Monolith is making a sequel to this game. though becase vividi universal (however you spell it ) owns the lable FEAR it will be coming out as a new name but picks up right where the first one leaves off! cant wait for this!

You know thinking about it, F.E.A.R. is scarier then DOOM III. Just something about a little kid trying to kill you. Parents with kids the same age must have had nightmares for weeks, just thinking about it right now still gives me chills down my spine.

1 + 1 = 2 + Fear = Pwnage

FEAR totally reminded meh of THE RING! if you ever saw the little prequil video it will send a chill right down your spine! its so weeeeird but totally wicket worth the 5 or so min you kinda learn wtf is going on right from the get go but its still messed up. they took DARKNESS FALLS, THE RING 1&2, and The Grudge combined them all together and you get FEAR! girl lol
