final fantasy 7 remake??????

i heard that they are going to remake FF7 for ps 2 & 3. does anybody know something about this....?????????

it was only a tech demo for the ps3. nothing to get excited about.

it was a tech demo show what the PS3 is capable of, right now they dont have any plans to remake. if they do they will be heated on because there will be gameplay changes no doubt. FF12 is the next and final FF on ps2.

As for a 'remake' if you get a hold of the pc version, you can download a hires texture pack of the game, which is pretty amazing. I found it to be very refreshing. It didn't even seem like the same game.

A Final Fantasy VII remake would blow my mind.
Anyhow, they have voiced not to remake it before but are working on something for the PSP I believe.

final fantasy was, and still is, the reigning rpg of my time.........i recall playing that game for hours. Man.......it was so imersive. Moogle!

I think a FF7 remake would blow everyone's mind, the only thing is people principle get sin the way and all of a sudden its too good to be re-made.

I didn't get into the FF games really until I played FFX (which is possibly one of the best times I ever had completing a game). I remember the FF games on the NES, but I didn't care for them. I've since gone and played some of the originals. I loved Crono Trigger (or is it Crono Cross on the SNES) and the Secret of Mana was a huge RPG fav. Best of all time RPG though has to be Ogre Battle.

9 was good, you should play. It's a lot like 7...so don't expect any innovative stuff. Just good ol' ff; cool characters and random battles etc.

i own Final Fantasy (and an working NES) FF7, FF8, FFX, and FFX-2. im finishing up FF6 right now.

the one FF ive played and absolutly hated was FF Crystal Chronical.

Where can I find this HiRes pack? I searched around on Google a bit and couldn't find it...

I think they will release it for both PS3 and PSP in due time. But yeah nothing to get excited about right now.

as for Final fantasy 6. That is going to come out on gameboy DS. and it's going to rock.

ff7 has the best storyline of any game I have ever played. I mean how many other games does the main charactor supress his own memorys by lieing so much he forgets the truth. Truely amizing writeing.

I have played almost every RPG out there and ff7 is by far the best all around IMO. It would be a very bad business move not to remake it, and if they made that one of there launch titles PS3 would sell on ebay for well over 4000.00, which the proably will anyways.

Chrono Cross was the Playstation sequel to Chrono Trigger.

Ogre Battle was originally a SNES game, somehow I picked it up as Tactics Ogre for the PSX, exact same game.

I've played and love all of the FF games, except the new online one, won't do pay to play.

Anyways I still think the greatest RPG's EVER were Suikoden I, and Suikoden II !!!!
