DH Review: Full Auto - Xbox 360

Andy has taken a look at a very fun car game out on the xbox 360. We also know how much you guys like our videos so this time we have no less than 4 videos for your enjoyment !

"When we heard about a game that involved racing cars while trying to destroy everything in your path, we were obviously enthralled by the idea. Developed by Sega, Full Auto attempts to bring the driving genre to a whole new level by combining fast-paced arcade style driving with a substantial arsenal to dispose your rivals with. To say the least, Full Auto is an innovative title that does a great job at distinguishing itself from the mainstream of games. "

Great review as usual! And I must say, I was really looking forward to this game but it's a pity it can't keep that cool X-Factor a bit longer Oh well, fun game but Burnout seems like THE car game to get for the moment

I have to agree, the game is quite boring after a short while ....

Yeah, I tried it at a friend's house and I loved Burnout better. I think the gameplay is good but, like u said, boring after a while... Good review Zardon!

What do you guys think it would take to make the game's interest longer-lasting?

What is it missing?

Plot, something other than blowing up vehicles, umm pretty much anything could have added life to it. If you just added more content it wouldn't help because adding more broken things to a pile of already broken cr*p does not really fix anything. Like GTA

What kind of plot could be added to something like this?

My understanding is that the purpose of a race sim is to get from Point A to Point B...and if there's a Point C....get there before anyone else. That's the whole plot with racing sims if I understand them correctly.

In this game, there's a little twist as you get to arm your vehicle with weapons that can aid you in disabling the other vehicles....giving you a better chance of finishing first. That is, unless someone targets and hits you first. (Which happens a LOT!)

Generally speaking, this is why this type of game never really caught my interest until I got ahold of FLATOUT. I still play at FO because it's so unpredictable.

Anyway, I'm just curious as to what actual 'content' could be added to make something like this game more interesting over the long haul.

Would being able to get out of the car and do other things be one of those things? Maybe go up on the rooftops carrying one of those weapons and just shoot away at passing vehicles??

Would that do it? Or something like that?

Personally, I would've liked to have seen a little more emphasis on the weapons. Firing just seems too bland because you can rapid fire until you kill everything in sight, and then the rest of the race is a breeze. Maybe some kind of special power ups would've helped, but being limited to a few weapon sets throughout the entire game and only two weapons per race is a little dull.

Also, it would've been nice to have some game modes solely about destroying other cars instead of racing. A deathmatch arena type mode would be awesome, and maybe some type of shooting gallery thing would be cool too
