BF2 is the worst game ever for the simple fact that it' can't run properly...

ROFL. Yeah, I'd have to agree with SSXeon. But Sandok, even though the game crashes all the time, it's still fun in the few minutes you may be able to play without crashing.
But anyways, Captain EBD, have you tried reinstalling BF2 and patching it to 1.21 from stock? That usually works better for BF2 rather than incremental patches...

yeah ill try that.

why the hell can't EA do something right for once. they release a patch then announce a re-patch but then the re-patch fuxs it up more.

Have you manually reset your video settings. I know after 1.2 my in game shadows were clearly visible even though all shadows were supposedly disabled in the video options. The subsequent ultra high settings caused more video lag than I used to have. Once I manually reset to my old settings, everything worked fine again.

i had some trouble with my little brothers game crashing to desktop. Reinstalled 6.3 cats, still crashed, reinstalled directx, still crashed, reinstalled game then patched it to 1.21, worked fine. Just logged a nice session after being gone for 2 months. I hate my college...lol

Did you delete the folders in:

C:\My Documents\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\cache

Generally cache files cause most problems during patch or driver upgrades.
