In Major Nelson's Show #167 (@ about 9:54 into the podcast), he mentions that Xbox 360 Xbox Live "silver goes gold weekend" is taking place from March 31 through April 2.

i.e.: Xbox 360 Xbox Live Silver members will get to play online during from March 31 through April 2.
