KOTOR II : restoration project

For those of you who didn't know, there's a team of people working on a restoration project for KOTOR II. They've been at it for quite some time now and should be ready any time soon. Again, if you didn't know, KOTOR II suffered from major cuts, unfinished sequences and unexplained plot elements mainly because of lucasarts release date pressures. So the game was kindda incomplete, with an abrupt end, unexplained events, nonsense explanations, and LOTS of bugs.
Luckly, those cut elements (dialogues, sounds, scripts) were still in the game's source and files, unused, and they give some purty neat insights and revelations on how the game should have turned out. And putting it back in the game is the job of this restoration team. I can hardly wait for it to be released!!! I liked the game before but I sure want to play it with the story the developers had in mind from the begginning.

Goodluck to them and hope its better then the alpha that was released at a whole gold project. I always say if you want it done right, give it the fans to finish, no matter how long it takes it will be done right and probably even more awesome. I'm behind them 150%. *sigh* Not that I'm saying the people that made the game didnt do well */sigh*

lol. I liked the game, but it was obvious there was a lot missing from it. I'm really looking forward to the release date

Why didn't Lucasarts just fix all this in the updates/patches?

because lucasarts will give decent support when monkeys come flying out of my ass

This is awesome. I was very disapointed after purchasing it and realizing they dropped the droid factory and a bunch of other stuff.

That's pretty exciting...i'm playing through it for the first time (speaking of which, i should get back to it), but i'll definitely go through it again with this to see the changes.

Bookmarking that page now.

Never did finish that game since I heard of a possibility of it being "completed" from it's truncated state.

I'll be sure to keep an eye out for this update to complete the game.

Even though it missed parts, i still finished the game a good 3-4 times

obsidian released 2 patches, but only the first one was destined to address bugs. Lucas and EA are two companies that don't give crap about support.

the patches were horrible. I had more problems with the patch installed than previously. Once i got to Atris the first time, the game became unplayable.

lol, you're right. But I still think obsidian would have done a better job had lucas got off their backs.
