Unreal2 early level screenshots

Well for those of you still to get Unreal2 I have put together some high resolution screenshots for all our members (around 60), of the early levels and inside the main ship with the crew. I have alot more taken with Hypersnap DX, but I didnt want to ruin it for those of you still to get it, as the storyline is also pretty well laid out. Im very impressed with this game and I thought it deserved a little extra attention on the site over the weekend.

The images I have presented for you are of the earlier levels taken at 1600x1200 on the 9700 with the latest Cats. Please be aware for those on dialup it may be a little heavy so be patient if you are on a slower line.

I really have to say, regardless of the reviews ive been reading on other websites that this game just looks and plays absolutely fantastic, the Gfx are really gorgeous.

For those of you lucky enough to have a 9700 you just have to get this game !!

hehehehehe hopefully not too much cause it could cause epoleptic reactions in some people, not to mention vertigo from trying to follow them up and down....up and dowm..... :P

The girl looks just like my ex-girlfriend tattoo and all. Thay's pretty spooky cause lately I've been dreaming about her. I guess I'll have to get the game. I beat the original Unreal, liked it alot.

But it requries some tweaking and "optimizing" of settings to get it run smooth. I'm waiting for 3DSpotlight to do a guide on this game. The slow movement, fits the game nicely. It's a great game, however I think Halo beats it on the "Gameplay" side of it.

And yes I would strongly recommend this game, ive spent most of today playing it, totally amazing graphics, and the game plays just great. Id love to tell you guys about some of the levels, and how sweet they are, but I think if I gave too much away it would ruin it for everyone.

It really is a showcase for the 9700. I would say the graphics are the best ive seen alongside No One Lives Forever 2. This game running at 1600x1200 is like heaven, silky smooth engine !!

This will certainly fill the gap until Doom 3 !

I've had the pleasure of checking out the game myself.
It is smooth, even on my G2, nice engine.

Looks nicer on our 2 G4's and 8500 in the studio, DOH

I think its a nice mixture of performance, and quality.

Doom3 hmm looks good so far

I am playing this game as we speek and I must say:

This is the best looking game I've ever seen...also the sound is unbelievable!!!!
The graphics are awesome!!!!!

Look at what the readme says:

Nice post, and I agree with your observation.
Better code results in less draw from system resourses.
I'm running a Celeron 1.5M and a GF2400MMX at home.
It's just silky smooth, nice programming.

I feel Jedi Night 2, had the sort of scope.
Don't need the most expensive toys when software is properly written and coded.

Again I am impressed, and as for it being short Zardon, maybe they have a second add on in mind, as they did with the first.

Lets hope so
