Major Problem!!!

i bought a geforce 7300 GS PCI-E Graphics card and "the chronicals of riddick escape from butche bay" came with it

now the game needs opengl 2.0 to run but opengl never came with the gfx card? so why did they pack it in there? or can some one link me to a download of opengl or does my gfx card need somthing else other than opengl 2.0?

HELP QUICKKKKKK I WANNA PLAY DIS GAMEEEEEEEE :ddddd

Just download the latest drivers from nvidia, opengl is supported through them...

I have had this problem but i can't find the thread i asked at the moment, and it has nothing to do with the driver as riddick don't support opengl 2.0..

you need to install powerstrip (i Think) and go through the options under opengl and find force opengl 1.5 this gets the game working.

EDIT: Its's not powerstrip as i first thought,you need the application called Rivatuner which can be downloaded from Here

I had the same problem and solved it as folows

I dled Rivatuner from guru3d, installed it and forced opengl to 1.5 In the opengl settings.
(if forced to opengl 2.0 Riddick don't start ).

b.t.w. Rivatuner report,: it doesn't support the driver after install ,switch off this warning.

In the game it self enable opengl 2.0.

The game's opengl 2.0 overrides the 1.5 setting from Rivatuner.

can i also use this utility to enhance the performance of other titles ? my machine is soo crapy now ..

Yes u can configure performance and quality settings.

Alse recomend is the tweak utillitie "NvTray"

one more thing , what is AGP Aperture size ? and how large should it be ?
