Need opinions on graphics card.
Hi,
I have an old Windows XP (around 2002) and it has a Nvidia RIVA tnt2/64 video card in it. Here's the problem...I just recently bought Battle for Middle Earth 2 and it says it needs a Nvidia GeForce 3 or higher to run on the comp... Will the game run with my card or is it vital that I really have the newer video card? Or, is there a third party upgrade that will make my card compatible with the game? Thanks, the Oaf |

you cannot emulate it, i can't believe that you are still using the card! look into a more current budget card.

If that's the case, since the package says that you need a certain graphics card or better, then that's worth taking to the bank. They are telling you right up front that you do have to have at least a certain model of card. The only other way to know for sure is to open that package, install it, if it will, and see if you can get it to work. But, if I were in your shoes, I'd take the package labeling at face value and upgrade the system if I really wanted to play that game. |

And if the card is THAT old, the rest of the system must surely be not enough to play either...
