I tried to play Counter-Strike, but it came up with an error saying that my version is outdated. Then, when I checked for updates, I got this:

WTF !!!!?? How in the hell did that happen it makes no sense did you try searching someplace like fileplanet.com for a newer version?

Just redownload the update and reinstall the update - probably your .exe failed a CRC check and so it wants to force an update despite there being no update options...

I guess it was just their servers. Damn, and I though today just might be the day. You know => 1.1.1.1 , 1.6. Oh well.
