Gonna try this again. After fiddling, getting mostly organized and all stable ..

Anywho..

I've got both a UT2004 Server up (with a few dozen mods on it....i'll see if i can be specific on which goes where and what... etc.)...

and i've also finished setting up a Serious Sam 2 Dedicated Server as well. COOP, trying to set it to SERIOUS difficulty.... still learning it all and trying to tweak it... so suggestions welcomed.


Heres the deal:

UT2004:

You need the Community Bonus Pack 1 and Community Bonus Pack 2 Volume 1 and Community Bonus Pack 2 Volume 2. You also need the ECE Bonus pack. And you NEED the UT2004 Mega Pack. Ontop of all that, You need Excessive Overkill 3.02. Along with a few other mods/mutators/additionals. I haven't got it completely setup.. but it's pretty well right and running. I'll churn out a quick small package of the other stuff so they are available for download somewhere (if i can find space somewhere).

Btw, install this package here AFTER installing all the other packages, this will cut down on downloading from server or any capability issues. http://files.filefront.com/JudasUT20.../fileinfo.html

Serious Sam 2: No mods, currently the server is running 2.068.... i don't know if 2.070 clients can join an older version of the server. So yell at me and see. Also, as i mentioned before, i'm trying to set the difficulty to the highest, it start on the first map. You got 999 lives, and infinite ammo, you can also hurt other players, so play nicely. This will all be adjust down the road remember.


To connect to either server:

IP1:139.142.236.187 \
IP2:139.142.236.188 _} both of these address will work, so choose which ever one you want to play on, if your expiencing maybe some form of lag on one.... move to the other and see... if i can help it, i'd prefer people to randomly choose which ip to join so we can load balance the server and connections... this will produce the best gameplay..... up to 32 players... but only 16 on one connection and 16 on another... = supperior gameplay vs 1 connection and 32 players on it.

All ports are the default.


TeamSpeak2 Server:

I'll provide my usual TeamSpeak2 server (be forwarned that it may be going down permently within the next month or 2.. (how hower long it takes) .. being replaced by TeamSpeak 3 server).

ATM, once again, either of the 2 IPs i posted above:

139.142.236.187:8768
139.142.236.188:8768

YOU MUST put in the port number 8768 as the default is 8767 which isn't being used.

Ask for PW and i'll send you the PW... or other people that regularly join it.. can usually decide to provide a PW.... welcome to any DH member.

UT2004 Server is natively running x64 mode. Serious sam 2 however doesn't have a x64 mode... nor does teamspeak2...

server should remain up as long as i don't get my power cut off in the near future (due to owner ship transfers.. and a stupid electric company.....)

24/7 ts/ut2004/serious sam 2....

still fiddling... gonna make SS2 require like 32 people to play it

put the mods and packs up on rapdishare or megauploads or something, cuz it sounds liek you're gunna be looking 700 megs or so [packed] in the face for a download

well the bonus packs installed are all available everywhere...

the only other downloads for ut2004 are quite small..

when attempting to join the server... instead of going through internet... .go to local network and then select specify.... then punch in either of the IPS...
