wireless network gaming
Anyone know a good setup that they can definitively say from experience is good for wireless gaming? Any particular brands? I know there are some wireless gaming routers from d-link, but don't know if they are worth anything. Any help and links would be greatly appreciated.

My whole experience with Wireless internet was horrible.
Especially for gaming.

Wireless internet is always slower than wired broadband.

Well I've had no problems with my Linksys system. Wireless G with speedbooster. No lag or nuthin on my secondary comp and it made life a lot easier by removing the cables that went downstairs and across the top of em.

i know there's no comparison between wired and wireless gaming. but like sfosok i have a comp down stairs i don't want to run wires to. so does linksys with speedboost do a good job at routing the data so there's no lag or stuttering?

i know there are gaming routers out there, like one. And i know they can prioritize gaming stremas so they get the most action. could you do that on a regular wireless router?

Well I'm not sure about priortizing a certain steam but I've gotten no lag with The Wireless G with speed booster. Even if it says low or really low connection its still the same speed as if it was really well connected. As long as its connected there will be no problems, or at least it has been that way for me. You can get a gaming wireless set up but it probably gunna cost you a bit extra. Just make sure to get wireless G and encrypt the source point.
