Point of Existence 2 - Greatest Battlefield 2 mod.

There. It's been out since Saturday and I've had this one from the first minute of launch. I've been Playing Battlefield 2 for a long time, and I think most of you know, what i think of Battlefield 2. It sucks. Not because it's a bad game or so, it's made by EA and that should cover it all. But when I heard that there's PoE 2 coming out, I dug up my BF2 DVD, I installed that mofo and i patched that mofo. And all that because of Point of Existence 2. And when I finally got a crack at this game, I was so impressed, I had to pick up my jaw after playing for a few hours. Now, dear Driverheaven people, I know there's a lot of Battlefield 2 players here, maybe a lot of ex-Battlefield 2 players, that don't play anymore and are not updated on BF2's news. But I feel, it's my pleasure to let you know about something so wonderful as Point of Existence 2 mod for Battlefield 2. It made me love war again!!!!!!! I am about to go download POE2, but I am keeping my eyes peeled for when EOD2 comes out.

I loved EOD on BF42 and I expect I will feel the same once EOD2 is out. www.eodmod.com

Forgotten Hope might be nice too.

I tried it out on a server that was infantry only maps but it was pretty cool. Gonna give it a shot tonight on a larger server with all the vehicles.

EDIT: Holy shit this mod is cool! I spent about an hour tearing up tanks and choppers with my chopper. Laser guides missles and rapid fire rockets are great. The mod even even prevents base campers you die if you go to close to uncap spawn even just a flyby will be enough to die.

i cant wait for forgotten hope 2 it was what battlefield 1942 should have been, unfortunately EA always aims for arcade gameplay

This is a great mod !!

I've only been playing it for 2 days and love it, this is a must for BF2 fans.

No servers? There are no ranked servers, but there are over 500 non-ranked servers. Set your filters and go find some place to play. There are a lot of US servers.

Anyways, Frontlines mode is pretty cool. Very very good battles and needs a lot of teamwork. Frontlines own.

It's total conversion. It's a new game basically. Read the manual I linked to at my first post. You'll get it.

AT and tanks are really unbalanced. Tanks can sit at a distance and kill you even if you hide behind sandbags due to their anti infantry ammo and if you try to shoot back the AT rockets are pathetic and don't lock and also drop to the ground long before they hit a target. I wonder why they didn't use heat seeking AT especially when most maps are massive and you'll get owned by columns of armor.

Yeah, I was thinking about it too. I guess it's because of that sucky bullet-drop that's in BF2. There are 2 ways to improve that: Make rockets faster or use locking system. Though, i kinda like everything in game, i have no problem with AT either. It's really rare occasion when you can't kill tank with AT. Spam all mines and you have more kills than tankdriver has

I have only played on a couple servers, but so far I am not impressed. All I did was lag until I was disconnected. I even made sure to find servers with a low ping.

It's not me as I have a 5MB/2MB connection.

I will give the game a few patches and it will prolly be cool.

50% chance you'll find a good server is what I've found. You definately need to favorite the stable ones.

"Damage zones" rule in POE2.. Tanks are a lot more vulnerable from back/side.
Arty rules, heli takes more skill = rules.. Uncap base gives damage to intruder.. Sniper rules! RULES!!!

AT is bad... You can steer them IRL and in BF2, why not in POE2...
