F.E.A.R. big problem

Hi dudes. I've downloaded F.E.A.R. Combat soem days ago. I've played maxed with my 3500+ and 7800 GS. I've tried to switch the resolution to 1280x1024 and the max resolution the game shoe is 1024x768. Do you know how to rise the resolution?

It's in the settings.cfg file. You can set this value manually, but then you can't go into the display menu because it will go back to default.
