??? Multiple Voice app for gaming?

Anybody know of a really good multiple voice chat program? Looking for apps that support more than 2 people chatting at the same time while gaming. With no land line.

Team Speak is a good one. I have had a teamspeak server up for about 3 years now. If you have a extra machine around it is purfect. I had it running on a 233mhz machine for quite sometime. http://www.goteamspeak.com/

You could use Teamspeak but Ventrilo is better. You could also use Skype

Edit: Teamspeak and ventrillo are meant more for gaming but Slype I think has overall better quality as its like talking on a phone but on your computer.

If I had to choose I'd say Ventrilo if you can get a server (which I think u have to pay for). If u can't get a server to talk on then try out Skype, its completely free and you can call multiple people and have like a conference and other things.

if you use it a LOT and depend on it, it's worth the money to pay for a managed Ventrilo server. I believe the one my WoW guild uses costs about $15 american a month, and is well worth every penny. Also:: i'm not sure about mac compatibility with Teamspeak, but the latest Ventrilo has codecs that allow mac users to join as well.

If its for a friend like he said then I would recommend skype. Its free and easy to use between buddies.

If you don't want to set up your own teamspeak or ventrilio server, try out yahoo messenger. It uses the same voice codecs as skype and gives the same quality voice... but the client is more feature rich.

I have this allergic reaction to Skype, not based on reason. I fully support Teamspeak, been using it for oh 6 years I think or close to that and have zero problems/complains with it. The maximum I have been in with was 24 people, but I don't know the maximum.
