360 version is out already, Xbox and PS2 version on the 24th, Cube on the 26th, and the PC version is slated for the 31rst.

From what I got to play of this one a friends machine it's definatly on my list of games to pickup.

yeah why bother with a ps2 version now? i could care less what they do with splinter cell on there after chaos theory. it was so bad on PS2. i am a PS2 man, but splinter cell has always been superior on xbox and PC.

from the reviews I read zardon, i heard the story is the same boring structure as before, controls and moves are the same. New missions and scenarios but the overall game structure hasn't really changed. Splinter Cell is always fun, but its store structure is normally Sam is put into a mission to find someone fairly important, then the main bad guy is unveiled, Sam gets him in the second last mission (which is usually good) and the final mission is where the story absolutely falls apart since the mission has little to do with the overall game. then the ending is something like "Sam you need a vacation!". Double Agent has lots of potential for a good ending and story.

Maybe on your pc it was bad, but it was one of the best games on my PC, in my top 3 games of all time. amazing graphics, brilliant level design and great fun.

Double Agent wasn't as good as Chaos Theory IMO, the level design was good but near the end the level design wasn't wonderful and i beat it in about 10 hours. really quite short tbh.

Man, I loved Chaos Theory on my system. It played, looked, and performed GREAT!

I was dissappointed to here the 360 would lose the co-op manuevores, but I'm still pretty impressed with the online play, it really does rock, lot's of different levels, and bonuses to unlock and skills to build.

The single-player i loved, all the different settings and things to do, i enjoyed it more than Chaos Theory, Hopefully we'll see some DLC on the 360 as well.

More than impressed with it.

For myself Splinter Cell made one hell of a impact and was a fantastic intro for it's time.

Pandora Tomorrow was decent but it lacked a little something.

Chaos Theory rocked and still does,the tactics offered in all the levels had one very good (but not to steep) learning curve to improve the stats.

I for one am a big SC fan and eagerly awaiting this and also hope the Double Agent release is worth the wait,I hope this is a good addition to the series,which i still play today.

its an awesome game series, and if you liked Chaos Theory you will like the new one, its much the same really, which isnt a bad thing, I just wish they had put more night missions in the game. I appreciate the variety they tried with day time and all the other stuff but to me, the whole joy of SC is the night time, sneaking around and taking out the enemy.

The levels in this weren't quite up to Chaos Theory IMO, and im not trying to put people off as I would still buy it even after beating it, but Chaos Theory really was an all time classic.

I have a small request if anyone would be able to help me. I play games quite constant and with all my posting on forums, I cannot seem to find or create a Signature for my profile that is cool. I have seen some pretty nice ones on these boards, especially the airplane one lol.

I need some help finding a way to create one, or getting some help getting one created. I am wanting it to have a spy from Splinter Cell Double Agent with my name in it somewhere visible, Vostik Z

Is there anyone that can help me or know someone who could point me in the right direction i been working on trying to get one for a month or longer and no luck yet other that bad drawings on MS Paint lol..

Rented it this past weekend, and couldn't put it down. So I picked it up used for $45.00. Which isn't too bad if you ask me. Especially nice for me since I bought Chaos Theory, but wouldn't install it because of Starfarce.

And luckily, i have that same card!!!!!!!! Now, i'm really disappointed... So, any suggestions besides suicide and buying a new card?

Double Agent is likely an Nvidia endorsed game so that means they pressured Ubisoft to cut out SM2.0 so all those ATI users would be forced to upgrade.
