I dunno about imploding. its changing though, thats certainly true...but I mean back when the current gen systems came out, PC gaming took a back burner for a bit. PCs will come back. Its just that PCs dont have any of those awesome release parties for a new hardware set because little pieces get little updates all the time.

anyway MS has been talking about releasing 360 games for PC quite a bit and with their XNA development kit making it easier to program games for both PC and 360...yea

of course I seriously doubt they'll port gears.

then again Halo 2 is scheduled and I'm sure halo 3 will follow suit and those are the BIG xbox titles that are comming to PC. who knows?

Well I know the games that got me heavily into PC gaming (mostly Tom Clancy games) are now exclusively for a console.

I picked it up tonight, so far so good. Controls seem kind of sticky, but it might just be me.

Nice. Microsoft badly needed this, its the first game that makes me want to consider a 360 now they just need a few more. Although there are quite a few sites saying this will port over to PC anyway, and the developers also wouldn't deny it.

I thought that as well initially, and after playing it for 10 minutes was really let down. However a good three hours into the game im well impressed. It plays really well and the engine is one of the sweetest ive seen. There is a downpour rain level and it is without a doubt the best looking rain style stage ive seen in a game yet.

Its a brutal game especially with the chainsaw gun up close, blood and gibs flying everywhere, but it really deserves the acclaim IMO. I found games like F.E.A.R. and Doom3 monotonous but this is different, the control method, the cover system and the fully damageable environment really do make the game that much better.

Call Of Duty 3 is amazing as well, real shame these are not coming out on PC (yet).

Well you are a total nintendo fanboy lets be honest mate, no offense but im just saying what most of us are thinking

There are at least 10 brilliant games out on this console but lets not go over this again as it really just gets old.

Actually haven't touched it since last night. Too much to do before the weekend. Tomorrow I go off call so plan on having some with it.

I FINALLY got my copy today (curse you FedEx and Gamestop). I must say, it's extremely beautiful. At first I grew worrisome seeing the repetitive cover system, however the gameplay keeps changing trying to remain fresh a little over an hour in.

I wouldn't have been enjoying this if it wasn't for you guys, really. That TV drove me to get a 360 and I couldn't be more glad

I still laugh at one of my friends though, he insists his X2 and 7900GTX could run this just as good, if not better, if they would port it to PC. I got such a laugh out of it

The thing with PCs is that they have to run other things too at the same time, where a console just runs the game.

It is not extremely underpowered IMO. And I haven't played seen in person the game either to make a better judgement.

In comparison it is, you must take what I say in context. The only way his PC could run it is if Epic was so inefficient it could or they didn't utilize the 360 as much as they said they initially did (they did say recently that the 360 still has tons of headroom).

yeah it was good, didn't take too long to beat it mind (although I think it was long enough to be good value overall), and you can get more gamer points for it on the harder level now.... although once I beat a game, thats pretty much it over, never was into the "ok lets play it on mega hard now".

I hear multiplayer is good.
