well just tried the wii today at a electronics store near my house on a Sony Bravia 36" 1080p hdtv and..well...bleh? I mean seriouly, i don't mean to ofend anyone but..250 bucks for a gamecube with a new controler? played wii sports and a bit of zelda and it seriouly didn't impress me at all, it really did feel like a gamecube with a new controler...and i did notice that the controler had a small delay when playing, its a realllly smalllll one but still...there's stock of wii's all over the place in various shops and the demand for it HERE just isn't there, people are just not informed and most of them look at the wii with a WTF expression on their faces..LOL. I laughed my ass off with brother in law when he asked me "WTF is that ugly little white box next to the tv...?"
