Fear Extraction Point & The Infamous Buzzing

I'm running XP x64 /w all the latest updates (drivers too) plus the RC SP2. When ever I go in to "Bullet Time" or jump in certain areas I get this loud buzzing noise. Tried all the suggestions in the Vivendi FAQ, and forums. Any suggestions? I also installed the 1.08 patch before installing the expansion.
