XBOX 360 Controller + Fifa '07

I have FIFA '07 on my PC and I was wondering if you guys know if the XBOX 360 Controller is as functional as the EA Certified Controllers are?

Because there's a few Logitech controllers that are EA Certified for 06 Sports Games but I didn't want to buy a 360 controller and have the same functions that I do with my keyboard because on FIFA 07 if you don't have a controller you aren't allowed to juke or anything like that. Just basic moving.

Owners? Any Input?

There was mention of this before in another thread. There are updated drivers for the controller on WindowsUpdate which are the ones that work with Fifa 07.

What you need to do is install the drivers off of Microsofts website for the 360 controller. After that's done, and with the controller plugged in, goto WindowsUpdate. Do a "Custom" install for updates. You should notice the availability of an updated driver under the hardware updates section (v.6.0.5435.0). After this update installs Fifa 07 should work perfectly.
