GameBoy Advance Flash Advance Linker 2

I'm planning to get one of these babies. From the specs I've read, they're worth their money. Does anybody have one? If so, was it a good investment? Is 128 MB Flash memory card good enough? Or 64 MB plenty? I need thoughts and input on this before I decide to purchase it.

GameBoy Advance Flash Linker with 64 MB Memory card

I checked out the prices. And well...they're way too steep. I'll settle for the basic Flash Linker 1 and 64 MB Card. Again, if there is anything I should know, don't hesitate to post!

Well with the 64mbit model you wont be able "backup" any of the 128mbit games, and the gba has support for up to 256mbit.

Oh man..

Ok. So what about the linker itself? Any difference between the original and the version 2 of it?

Support for saving?

What do you mean exactly? Support for saving stuff from the memory card? Or allows saving of games inside the memory card?

i think he means SRAM support (uploading and downloading save files to the cart).

and i'd definitly get the 512mbit cart if you can afford it... the games are getting bigger all the time, and being able to fit many games on one cart is very nice. i use gbxchanger for my gameboy color, i know they're different but its the same idea, and i love it

For the people that don't know, the flash 2 advance is a gameboy advance backup device.
Packaging:
In a word: terrible. You get 2 very bland silver boxes. You don't get any printed mauals, its on a burned cd. The flash advanced cart comes with a very flimsy tin box for transport purposes. I wouldn't really count too much agenst it here though, becuase it has no effect on the acctuall use of it.
Speed:
To me it seems slow, but I don't have anything to compare it with so I'll just give you some numbers. For a full 32MB it took about 8 and a half minutes. 8MB took 2 minutes.
Compatability:
I tried both EEPROM and SRAM games and they worked fine. I also tried loading roms of various sizes and they all worked fine. None of the games require patches unlike with the 64/128Mbit models.
Overall:
I think this device is a must have for anyone that owns a gameboy advance. I'll give it a 9 out of 10, the only reason it lost a point was because of the atrocious packaging.
Score: 9/10
Price: $180 from gamegizmo
