if the damn game cant run decently on a system like mine when everything is turned down, something is seriously wrong. i may not have the strongest system out there any more, but it can still throw its weight around quite well.

well the problem was about what i figured after doing some testing. their netcode is absolute crap.

alot of people are haveing the same problems as me. it runs like absolute crap in a populated game, but runs amazingly well in an empty server. same thing happens for me too.

It runs just fine but it does slow down if some gets shot and their body or ammo sticks to the surroudnings.

For a multiplayer beta I actually love it. The visuals could be a bit better but this is definately my type of game. The dynamic day and night is really cool as well as modding of the weapons. All of my shots were spot on and I found it really rewarding to pick off guys with my silenced AK w/ scope.

I'll get back to playing it after I exercise but this game actually feels pretty good once you get past its problems. It kinda has a Soldier of Fortune feel too it.

Performance is fine on high settings however the jump to maximum suddenly makes it unplayable though i'm sure that will be sorted out. I've noticed some possible texture flickering which i will attempt to pin down and reproduce but it will take time it's very minor.

like sfosok said for multiplayer beta i really like it , theres alot to be improved but the games is fun and its lightining effects are amazing ,i havent had a multiplayer experience like this for ages

Also, if you guys have problems validating your key (the one for the game) type the key in and press enter. You can only enter once it is typed and then you press enter.

I had some trouble with it but found the solution in the beta forums. I'll work on some ss after my run.

bugger

just after I started the download I noticed my PSU fan suddenly went into overdrive, so I cracked my case to discover it was the only bloody fan in the case working

no cpu fan running, neither of the 120mm antecs.
looks like STALKER will have to wait a day or so for me until I get this sorted

thank christ I spotted it before anything cooked is about all I can say.
still, Zelda finally arrived today, so I can get cracking on the wii tomorrow I suppose.

well im running much better now. not a clue whats going on with my fps, but its much better. im running on medium and getting about a 40fps average.

overall the game seems pretty damn fun.

my biggest complaint right now is the day/weather system. it works well, and looks cool, but it cycles way too damn fast if you ask me.

as far as weapon customization is concernd, i think it needs to be balanced more. as it stands right now, i cant see any diffrence when adding a scope, silence, and grenade launcher to the gun, except for it being slightly heavier. just adding a silcener alone is like a free massive upgrade.

Well on my current specs it runs really good i get low 30s to high 40s every once in awhile it drops to the teens every thing maxed out too. But thats probably on a heavly loaded server thou. The lighting effects are awesome im defently buying this for the single player when it comes out for sure. It really takes advantage of dual core thou awesome.

medium settings, 4xaa, 16xaf, and im running mid 40s now.

ive also managed to crash the game 3 times now. something about playing on the artifact mode, buying the 2nd assault rifle, and buying 2 boxes of ammo. doesnt happen all the time, but about 1 out of 3 times.

just added some screen shots.

and this is during a thunderstorm.

crashed it once again. it seems to crash every now and then when you buy a 2nd box of ammo for any gun.

I'm loving this game so far. You have to earn the sniper rifle but once I got it I got something like 45 kills. The closest guy to me was at 30. Also your gun stays after you die so you have to decide if you want to run back in and get it or buy another one.

Game was running great for me but i have a problem that could serisouly stop me playing it...

NO AA

there is just to meny jaggys about lol
im not even sure AF was working properly either.

this is with my spec in my profile to the left.

i was useing 100.64 drivers.
havent tryed 100.65 drivers yet but i suspect the same..

and when i force from my control pannel AA and AF all i get in game when i join a server is the sky thats all i can see lol
