Default Post Jedi Knight choppy on outdoor maps?help please...

Im running the RADEON WIN XP/2k OMEGA/PLUTONIUM DRIVERS XK1.0.71b
and when i play maps such as Bespin or Yavin the graphics seem to dropp off.All other maps seem to fly with these new drivers..any settings i could try to get these levils to stop being so choppy...?
Ive turned off system restore and indexing long ago....
I have a Radeon 64 DDR VIVO

Not much you can do about it, other than maybe dropping your res and turning down all the graphic details. It's a problem with Quake III engine. It has been known to struggle with outdoor scenes on occasions.

I get the same problem. Most of the time my FPS is 70+ and then it drops to 15 when I hit an outdoor scene.
