I can't even seem to install the game without the second CD haning during installation... It's a tad annoying.

did you check surface of cd?
do u have more than one chapter of game? if so instal it, logon, then map around & get everything up to date. you can also do the -image thing befroe logon but it has led to some issues for some peeps. the 'map around method is tedious & time consuming but safest imo. though logically it should not make any difference...

Yeah the CD is fine, it just hangs on the second CD even on a PC where a couple of months ago, everything was perfect from the beginning.

And I only got GW, no expansions or anything... And the map thing is too boring Though for the moment, I only have that as a choice.

As for your flickering, what drivers you using with that 7950gx2? I've got a 7900 gt with the 93.71 and everything works fine...

Works fine on my 7800gtx with windows XP.

If you are using Vista? I know there have been issues with that and AF, but it was supposedly fixed two patches ago. Might be your drivers?

using 9371 & xp. it was fine untill they did all that patching last week. i think it has something to d owith that aa patch for vista &/or recent dx update... but waht the hell do i know.
apparently they r aware of problem & there is supposed t obe a 'fix' in the works.

sandok you would have to map to get everything updated anyway...
i dont kno if this would work but you could try running the game from the #1 cd & when it asks you were you want the game to run from browse to the location u want. i know it works if you move the .exe t oanother part/hd or say from the gw folder to desktop.
