Thief Series Fans: Some Questions

I have two of the titles: Thief: Gold and Thief: Deadly Shadows.

As I've read so many rave reviews about this series, I'm stumped as to why I've started and never finished these games.

I remember I got quite a ways into the Gold title I have and just completely quit for some reason I can't remember. I think it was maybe another game that just really caught my attention and I never got back to it.

I even installed Deadly Shadows and got a little start on it and the same thing happened. I think in this case it was OBLIVION.

Anyway, someone give me a few good reasons I should finish these games. It's a shame I have them and they are simply collecting dust.

They are one of the best games out there. You gotta see the plot through. There couldn't be any better reason.

Consider yourself lucky that you still have thief saga to complete.

Well, I've installed Deadly Shadows again just now and patched it. But, I've yet to start it up and plan to do that in just a moment.

BUT, one thing I do recall now is that I was having some serious 'jittery' issues and my aiming of the arrows was giving me big pains. I'll see if the new rig I have and the patch have corrected those issues.

I had to do some searching as I did recall playing with the DS Demo. And, for the first time EVER in my gaming experience, I was starting to feel nauseous with all the 'jerkiness' as I tried walking in FPV.

I DO hope the story is good. That's one of the main elements that keep me going.

There aren't any rope arrows in Deadly Shadows. It was one of the major complaints about this one.
