Ut2003 Aimbotz And Multiplayer Cheats

More and more I am running in to aimbotz on ut2003 it ticking me off. I complan to admin and they tell me to STFU,FOAD,etc... or i'll mention it in game so it's aparent to the players then I get an adminastor warning or kicked ... This Ticking me off ... Now there are some where thier caricter is the wrong color for thier team... like there on the blue team but thier red so when you see them they look like a teamate and the only way to know for sure now is to shoot every one..... there one on two players on both team like that and what did ya guess they had the highest scores...becouse people dont realize thier on the other team becouse thier you team color....
I sen cheating before i ben playing ut and ut 2003 sence they came out..what your guys thoughts on this.

Yeah cheating is annoying. It'll always happen. Two groups mostly do it. Group A who just want to cause misery even though their already a decent player and they just want to fiddle with it and the other group of pathetic losers who depend on cheating.

Its really sad, really.

It's bound to happen in every game. In CS, people have been cheating for a long time now. I just hope they make a cheat proof version someday.

As long as it runs on the quake one engine there is no way in hell counter strike or condtion zero will ever be cheat proof.

I have a bind for all the good ones, it's just that I only really play single-player so I don't think it's all that bad.

I found a pretty good CS server that is almost completely cheat-free - very very good admins and anti-cheat proggies required 1/2 the time

www.joe.to is the website, but their DNS is changing right now...

Cheating is always going to happen in multiplayer games. If you say something to the admins and they do nothing about it--leave. Go to a different server or perhaps start one of your own. Are you playing on 'stat tracking' servers? I have found those to be better just because of the tracking element of it.

Also, are you sure that the people are actually cheating? My roommate and I have been told that we are cheating when in fact we were just doing well. Of course we were also playing on a server that in on our network and on machines that are pretty damn fast with Nostromo SpeedPads and Logitech MX series mice.

yep... just call me group B... no really though i only use them sometimes for fun... i like doing mass killings with the nuker

What I find amusing are those people who complain about online cheating but don't complain about that illegal copy of the game they're playing (not trying to point fingers at anybody here, just a general statement... mostly about Counter Strike).

I don't have much problem with cheating if it's a single player game... in such a case I'm only really cheating myself. But cheating online is just weak. If you're not good enough to play the game like everybody else, you shouldn't be playing the game at all. That's why I don't play Real Time Strategy games... I lose everytime (hell I'd probably lose even if I did cheat).

Well I think online multiplayer cheating ruins the entire experience. I play SOF2 online at a single server because the admins are ok and kick tk'ers and cheaters. Actually PUNKBUSTER kicks the majority of the cheaters. Obviously it never can catch them all, but w/ the continuous updates it does a pretty good job.
I hear AA'ops is going to adopt PB soon too which will make that game more fun.

If you want a great almost cheat free multiplayer fragfest w/ excelent players and most od the time not too much childish bullshit- install your copy of SOF2 gold and find 1 out of the 6 (maybe 8 now) Quakeshit servers for infiltration. It's a good time.

Go to Quakeshit.com to check out the forums- there is always going to be some BS, and we almost lost all the servers and the forum page because of it last week. But because the owner is so cool (Tubesock) we are back up and running again. Anyone that likes MP FPS's without cheats should check it out.

as for machine its fast and i am on high speed internet 30-50ms pings most of the time...

are you sure that the people are actually cheating? you dont unerstand i have went 96 hours no sleep only getting up to eat or visit the restroom I am to say the least a hardcore player.... I been playing origial ut and ut2003 quake 1,2,3 elite forece etc since they came out but mostly ut and ut2003 .. I am hot a easy kill ... most players for me are preditable and quite an easy kill.

well imposable shots ...... allways hitting you on the first shot every single time or misses the first shot then hits on the second shot every single time. basticly you come within view ... and wam your dead ... they can use thier telaporter more than the maxium amount of throws in that game...

I am legal ut and ut2003 ... but now the new 2223 patch is aslo a no cd patch.. there will be alot more aqureing copys than buying

No you apparently arent... I cant anymore I work too much. Heh

And yeah its not a snap decision for a serious player to call someone a cheater. You usually just notice suspicious behavior and after awile you can get an idea that they're cheating. Some games are harder than others but the more an action game it is the easier it is to detect cheats yourself. Like CS(yes its an action game believe it or not, or mebby I've just been playing too long....), Q3 or UT.

However games like Ravensheild, and SOF2 its much harder to tell the cheaters from the skilled. You have to have a more critical eye... Cause there's practicallly a chance thet your character will see an opponent and faint hehe.
