Vista blue sceen of death

I installed both Doom 3 and Gun then rebooted and all I get is the blue screen of death. Has anyone else had this problem?
Vista cant repair itself with or without the dvd.

Now on topic:

Hadn't seen this with Doom, but the other game I dont know. What BSOD you getting? Curious on the file that is causing it and the error number 0xHexidecimal. Can you make it through to safe mode? Seems like an odd problem.

I've seen gun cause nothing but issues on numerous machines, even under xp... seems to pick and choose.

But neither should have caused vista to fall into a BSOD loop.

That sounds more like a corrupt boot file. Have you done a scandisk lately? I had an HDD take a crap on me agian less than a year old.....and it got toasted basically and I lost the boot sector on the HDD and it did that.
