asus f3jp and sims2!!!!!!!

hi hope anyone can help
i have a asus f3jp laptop its got ati mobility radeon x1700 in is this a good card to run sims2 with because i can not get it to run the laptop has vista installed?

do i have to update the x1700 driver to make sims run?

Luckily for you ATI/AMD have released certified WHQ drivers for Vista users. Unlike us Xp users. Find the lastest Catalyst here:http://ati.amd.com/online/mobilecatalyst/

Also it's best to use Driver Cleaner Pro in safe mode to get rid of the previous version of the driver completely.

Hey guys i seem to have a problem here.

Mobile Catalyst Download

I followed that link and attempted to download the driver but i recieved a message saying 'only operable on 2000/XP' pr summut like that. I have Vista so can anyone help me figure out what to do?

I've bin to the ATI website to search for my card, but because it's a laptop it doesn't allow me to download it, instead it says i have to go to the manufacturer's website.

If anyone could offer me any advice that would be great!
