Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos Problems Please Help!

Hello all,
When I play Warcraft III Demo the intoductory Cinimac lockes up and I can't watch it. When I try to skip the cinimac and play the actual senario it does the same thing, lockes up and freezes. But however when I played the demo online Everything was fine exept when I try to scroll, my view goes all the way to the other side of the map as if the sensitivity is high. When I got the game it does the same thing. I have a Duel Processor Motherboard, could it be that Warcraft Dosen't run on a duel processors? Could anyone help me?

Dual processors, are you trying to play WC3 on a SERVER?
I'm not too sure what the problem might be to be honest, have you tried running it on any other computer? (if you ARE running windows that is, just making sure, it does run on spacs too)

No Just play WC3. The campaigns for example don't work as described above. I'm running Windows XP on this comp an on my brothers it is 2000 SP4 i think. But get this. On my brothers comp. (only single processor) it has a directX 8.1 Problem. I'm thinking of downloading DirectX 8 then installing it on it, even though I just put 9.0 on it. It tells me "Unable to Initialize DirectX"

Ok this is what I did. I went Start>Run and typed in dxdiag. Clicked on the display tab, and clicked the button that says "Test Direct 3D". When it got to testing DirectX8 it gave me this message: "Direct3D 8 test results: Failure at step 19 (Loading texture bitmap): HRESULT = 0x8876086a (3D not available)". What does this mean? I tried downloading the full DirectX 9.0 Package <http://www.softwarepatch.com/windows/directx.html> and it gave me the same thing. Any more recomendations?

get the latest drivers for all your hardware, video card espesially
