Tabula Rosa info..

Well after pre ordering it (did to get into beta) installing it, and spending 3 hours updating it.. I logged into the game today, and gave it a fair shot - 2 hours.

With out giving details away (non disclosure) it sucks.
The HUD is horribly set up, the chat is just plain bad. Controls are well... how to put this kindly.. fucked up.. The game it's self ran pretty well at all high settings with my system (look at my pc specs) which I was pretty shocked about.

I honestly say do not waste your money on this rubbish. I normally love a sci-fi mmo, but this one is just plain rotten. I honestly do not know how NC Soft and their dev team have been working on this game for 4 years.

Perhaps you haven't played far enough into the game, but theres quite a bit of other stuff that is also very concerning.

They haven't announced / shown any end game material. No PVP (not a big issue for me but it is for some others) Soldier class is way too powerful compared to specialist classes. Sniper rifles aren't in the game yet. (might've been added in the last patch on tuesday, not sure)

Another big thing that i felt that was missing in this game was a community. Sure it's an mmo and theres alot of people spamming global chat and you see them running around, but there's almost no sense of NEED to party with any of them save for maybe an instance run. Heck you can even solo instances in this game if you give it enough time.

What this game DOES do very well is give you a fun world where you just blast everything into bits and pieces and hit max lvl , quit and never look back at it again.

This could be the case, but I actually got the pre order after being told jus thow bad the game sucks from 20+ people that I know who have beta access. I have to agree with them.

It has a great idea, and the story line is pretty cool as well. But the game play I just did not care for. BUT I did love the "shoot em up" style.

Chat was badly implemented, the controls were just as bad. Those two things you do not need to play long to figure out. I'm sure there will be some that love it, but it's just not for me.
