i really wish they hadn't stopped making mech warrior games for the pc, does anyone share this opinion?
i can't rember how old i was, but pretty much my first videogame was mech warrior 2 which my dad played on pc all the time and let me play very frequently. i got good at it and then mech warrior 3 came out, my dad got me my own pc and we both bough copys of mech warrior 3 and played online together, had a pretty successful clan and alot of fun playing together, then 4 came out and i continued to play all the expansions for 4, but my dad stopped due to not wanting to spend the money anymore and being busy at work etc then people kinda stopped playing 4, i bought an xbox and got mech assult 1 and mech assult 2, which weren't as complex as the ones for the pc but still enjoyable (i was ranked number 5 on the XBL leaderboards for capture the flag at one point, and i believe the last time i checked i was still ranked 8, but i've since canceled my XBL account) anyway, i still have all my old mech warrior 3/4/ expansion discs but most of them are too scratched to install (i've tried and got errors) and i don't really want to spend the money buying them up again because i know there problably isn't a good number of people still around playing it does anyone agree with me / have any suggestions on what games i can play now that would be similar to mech warrior and give me a good time / know a good way to find people to play mech warrior with if i do indeed find and buy them again? i rember trying to get back into it like a year ago and finding a few leagues and stuff, but i've since lost the links Last edited by g35x; Aug 28, 2007 at 11:06 PM. |
