That would be me, I know, sorry I really wanted to keep you guessing... I just couldn't...

Anyway

Paid $300US for it!

20gig model
3 games:
> NBA 2007 (Will probably never leave it's case.)
> Reistance (It's alright, not that fun imo...)
> Rainbow Six: Vegas (It's nice to have.)

as well as two controllers and a Motorola H500 bluetooth headset.

Went and picked up warhawk yesterday and omg I'm in freaking heaven.

yeah its a great console, once they start releasing good titles. im getting a lot of use out of mine as a media player......

sweet, you'll love it. A lot of great games, plus you dont have to worry about it dying like some other console XD try motorstorm its the bomb!

One of the girls I work with got me in touch with a guy that needed money for car tags -- I just happened to have money and he happened to own a ps3

Funny part about it is, I basically only use my 360 to watch movies (which are stored on my media pc.)

Wowzers, that was cheap, if I could get a PS3 for £150 (The adjusted price as per exchange rates) I would have bought 2 of them (£425 retail ftl), I will get a PS3, just not until the price crashes, I hope you enjoy yours, get Motorstorm btw, it be awesome, and Ninja Gaiden Sigma if you haven't played NG or NG Black.

thats interesting zardon... I want to do that with it as well. Right now I am REALLY tempted to buy a 360 or PSP or 60GB PS3 with the emotion engine chip still in it. If I buy a PS3, I will sell my PS2. If I buy a 360, I then have to keep my PS2 for old games I may or may not play, which makes me feel bad. In addition, I love the media center extender on 360, Live but then I know later the PS3 games are the ones I want like MGS4 (if I don't play this at launch, I will probably put a gun to my mouth), GT5, Tekken 6 and a bunch others. What to do... buy a 360 which I might not play later, buy a PS3 that has boring online and technically poorer games ATM, or a PSP Slim?

oh and congrats on the PS3 20GB, you can upgrade that hard drive later to any size you want!

Choosing a console should depend mostly on what games you want to play.
If for example all you want is play Formula 1 games, then get a PS3.
Or a PSP.

If you want to play good games with good graphics, get Xbox 360. :-p
If you want to play games while away from the TV, on the move, or while on bed etc, then sure, a PSP will do fine.
Hell, if you have the money, get all of them.

I smell strong XBOX bias there... and I could easily say if you want to play first person shooters, buy a 360.

I just went to EB Games, now with the 80GB doing software emulation, they said games are slower and might see the compatibility problems down the road. The 60GB is really tempting as it would be one of my last chances to get a real PS2 within the PS3.

Nah, I was kidding. I am not biased. Not that the 360 isn't the better choice of the two now. If I had the money I would buy a PS3, just for the F1 games, but still, I would.

With the emulation, PS2 games are not only slower, and less games emulated, but also many of them look crap. Good decision for Sony, bad for customers.

yea i think i might be ready to trade in my ps2, the ps3 is a long term investment. but i still like the coxbox360 better ATM. probably wont later. i wonder how they are going to fit in such large games on dvd still? bluray solves that problem

Anyway warhawk is a pretty fun game -- it might even give halo 3 a run for it's money (game play wise) if they would just fix the ranking board...
