PS3 Compatability Website

I was just on gamespot and they reported that Sony now has a compatability website... great news! You can check all known issues for you PS1 and PS2 games!

this site is now pretty much rushing me to go out and get a 60GB PS3, there are SO MANY issues with popular games on the 80GB. The performance problem is a huge one if I plan to play my favorites again.

that or play them on your ps2 since there will be no quality difference whatsoever.
assuming you still have one to go with your games of course

If you have one of the new PS3s or any of the PAL PS3s, then you are better of playing PS2 games on a PS2 console. Too many problems if you don't, even if the game is officialy supported.

Welcome to the situation the UK has faced since launch, I hope Sony do try to add to the software BC, it is one of the reasons why I am reluctant to buy one, especially for £400

i got my 60GB PS3 now, games work like a charm. I don't see any diff with the upscaling, but at least it works.
