NHL 2007+2008 graphic bug

Hi!
Since 1 month, when I played NHL 2007 there was this graphic bug. I tried NHL 2008 but there is the same bug... Any hints to fix this?

Such anomalies are typical of a graphics card running a bit too hot or too far overclocked. Tune down any overclocking and check the cooler for dust buildup. Compressed air in a can is ideal for removing dust from electronics, but careful manual puffing can do. Vacuum cleaners are hazardous due to static discharge.

But my others games are ok!!! (Fifa 2006, Battlefield, Virtua Tennis)

My card is an Ati X1400 ans my computer is stock.

Check the graphic card cooler anyway, and if it's not dusty or dusting off doesn't help then check for driver updates and game updates.

I'm not sure of what your problem is, but it's not the game. I'm been playing NHL08 since yesterday and it works great for me. My rig is better though...(Core2duo@3 gig & an ATI x1900xt with 2 gig of ram. I played NHL07 with an AMD64 3500+ and the same X1900xt with 1 gig of ram and never had an issue with that either. I do know that an x1400 is a low end video card and would point to that first, but it could be a number of things. Have you updated your video drivers lately?

No... I changed nothing... I played 100 games of NHL 2007 before september 2007 and game was running fine all at 100% graphic... Only thing I did is Windows updates...
I know it is not the game, it is something i installed changed on my computer!

Hmm... maybe you should consider formatting... Make sure you back up all of your important stuff first of course...I use XP Pro with all the latest updates and also VistaU, but haven't played NHL08 in Vista yet. If you're using a no CD/dvd file that might be your problem, but I can't comment further on that because DH is against using such things and if that is the case...(Buy The Game!)

nope it's video card I had that in open GL on my haulin truck game lol your out luck time get that card RMA

or by new one. By the way I have dam controller issues with my nhl08 with my saitek game pad. when you chose custom settings they don't work. Plus I found another bug somereason when you press passing defence button too many times that your goalie gets polled I hate that dam bug in 08 They need another button for the pull goalie. I have no graphics issues here you might wanted check your direct x to make sure you have Aug 07 installed.

Never seen that while playing NHL 2007, and it looks like a graphics card bug of some sort, have you tried to update to the latest ATi cats to resolve it? Drivers and Utilities : Catalyst Drivers

Which Saitek gamepad do you use? I use the P880 and here is the deal with it. The left analog stick fire button pulls the goalie and I was hitting it by mistake too at first while moving my players around. Make a NHL08 profile using the "SST programing software" and assign a key on the keyboard that does nothing in the game(I used key A) to the left analog stick fire button.

As far as custom controller setting being saved, they kind of are. You have to go to the controller settings when you first start NHL08 and just put it on custom, then back out and it will ask you if you want to save your setting and say yes. NHL08 does save your custom controller setting, so you won't have to mess with assigning your buttons every time. You will have to load them every time you start your dynasty or every time before you play a game in exhibition mode.

I used p2500 gamepad I need new gamepad anyway soon lol it's a year old my thing wearing off on my left analog stick the rubber that how much I be using it. I'm thinking get logitech game pad next.

That's the same pad as the P880, but it has a rumble thingy in it. You should try what I suggested if you want to play NHL08 without any problems until you get a new gamepad.
