True, but that would be a choice by Bungie not to implement it. Not having AA implemented has nothing to do with it not being a native HD game. Resolution does, though, since it's not running in 720 or higher natively.

All I'm saying is there was a distinction being made here that the game not using AA means it's not a native HD game, yet the 2 having nothing to do with the other in this regard. It's incorrect, and it's misleading, which is why I mentioned it.

AA has zero to do with if it's HD or not..

if it's not 720p or higher, it's not HD.... and upsampling sucks no matter how you look at it, while it does provide some improvements over sticking at a low resolution.

I agree though, AA in some form should have been applied, and actually looking at how the developer mentioned thier strategy for providing realism.... they could have likely EASILY implemented a AA baised mode which would be like Temporal AA... 2x aa applied to different areas to produce a "4x" aa appearance would have dramatically IMPROVED things and should have kept the framerate true...

IMO, they blew it.... it's touted as an HD game, it's NOT... they shouldn't have put the 720p/1080i/1080p supported features on the back of the game...

i started playing the game on sunday over at my buddy's house. effing awesome game. sucks to know that the game is really short .

hmm..

i was just looking for alot of the DVD upscalers and such..

they all claim 480p only, but support upscaling to 1080i/1080p.....



yeah the gameplay is pretty decent... but it just way to damn short.. lol
