ALOT of people with "openAL" enabled and X-FI sound cards are experienceing BSODs constantly..

BTW, try using this method of exit..

hit the ~ key and type in "exit" see if it does it still..

That was a good game Judas. I mean the first one, in the second match you were killing me all the time

But it was just because it was 2 AM (what is your time zone?), it was my first online game ever and my ping was too high

I'll try the other server to see what ping I would get...

Edit: Tried to join now and I'm getting 250 ms on both servers, much better than 550-600 in the morning/night.

that one string where i got a multi kill on you... that was kinda halarious, cause you just kept spawning and popping up in the wrong places.....

specially when i had the manta and roasted you twice...

Strange, does this game use DX10 becuse i can only get DX9 lol

and in that mode i can max everything out and still be over 60fps

great game hehe love the hoverboard lol

Not me, then again i have a highend Xfi prelude sound card.

It's 8:35pm in my time, I'm in the UTC+2 (CEST) zone. It was good that nobody disturbed me when I was playing at 2 am, but the morning was worse...

The current beta demo is DX9 only.

My soundcard is a Soundblast X-fi XtremeMusic, OpenAL is enabled, latest drivers from the soundblast website (whatever the current one is as of today), if I recall the blue screen said something about about a page lock or something, and sound works perfectly in game.

However, upon restarting, Vista throws a "recovered from a severe error" message, and the link to the Microsoft "check for a solution" tells me it's a video card prob. Maybe it's wrong?

It's a problem with the latest drivers from Creative, they recalled the October 3rd drivers, and went back to some older ones.

Anyone else notice that half the resolutions ingame don't actually work? All the 1280*x resolutions except for one of them just set it to 1280x1024.

I was playing 1280x800 and it was correctly displaying it for me..

however i've heard alot of people saying that for some reason, UT3 is forcing default resolutions on them reguardless of what they set

It just seems the demo doesn't remember your settings - have to set them each time you start the game. Happening with me too. It's a hassle, but...

swimtech: It's because all the files are set as "read only". Just remove the attribute and the game will remember the settings.

I'm currently computerless..... well... computerless in the fact that i haven't a computer strong enough to handle it..

currently on an intel pentium 3 450mhz with 256mb of ram
