Need HELP with getting my MIC to work with TF2

Hey guys.. I hated to post this but, I'm having some NOOB issues with getting my mic to work with TF2 online. I've plugged in my Logitech headset with mic (came with UT2004 remember?) and I've got input within Steams VOICE tab, but yet it doesn't seem to work when I'm online. What am I missing.

edit: I can hear my own voice through my 2.1 speakers. On desktop and while in game.. but knowone else can hear me.
