PES 2009 Or Fifa 2009??

If it wasn't for Euro 2008 which was excellent, I would have said PES 2009 for sure, instead, I am now uncertain, I will probably rent both and buy my favourite, for now, both rock.

Played the demo and it feels better then the last years version but through passes at their default setting are still horrible. Some other minor annoyances are still there, but thats partially because I don't know the complete control scheme yet. Presentation is impressive though. One thing that doesn't seem changed, which I had major issues with last year, is that there is no sense of difficulty. If you play on anything above beginner...all teams whether they are 4 or 1 star play almost at the same difficulty. There is no clear gap in quality between teams on opposite ends.

according to Eurogamer the PES 09 Demo is going to released this thursday coming.

You could try out both demos to make up youre own mind,Fifa 09 has improved greatly over the last few years.But the arcade style of the PES series is more fun.

If I had to choose between the both of them at gun point though, I'd choose Fifa, I'm sure you know what I voted by now as well.

Pes 08 goalkeepers were totally blind ,I shot from the half of the playground and I scored

Fifa (94-2008) are designed for amatures , no techniqes at all.

But Pes still at top of the hill.

man i never got the fascination with football (soccer) games, the only time they are ever fun is in multilayer otherwise they are both Craaaaaaaaaaaaapppppppp!!!!!!! :-)

fyi fifa has improved dramatically over the past few years. there's no way i'd say it's for amateurs anymore.

I think gameplay style still roughly the same I had played many versions of fifa and there is something unreal in the gameplay .
Unlike pes which is very close to real playing simulating, that is my opinion.^^
