Star Wars: Force Unleashed - Tips and Tricks [possible spoiler]

so, i've been playing this game friverously and i'm stuck at this part. i've looked around with google and the one thing that keeps coming up is to not pay attention to the joy stick patterns that come up on the screen? that it, the star destroyer, needs to be lined up. i'm not quite sure what to make of that.

any ideas or links to a youtube clip of the scene or something? i'm stuck there and i keep getting the Tie fighters rushing me, and by the time i defeat them all, the star destroyer is already repositioned itself so far that i can't can't bring it down.

any help would be greatly appreciated!

Whomever said that about the joysticks not being lined up is partly correct. The whole idea is to get the Destroyer so that the nose is facing dead at you, and that the ship is leveled. The joystick patterns help you to figure out which way to move them in order to get the ship to rotate. I found it easier to cycle back an fourth between the 2 sticks to find out which rotates the ship faster vertically or horizontally, and once that one is done work on the next v/h movement. When the sticks are standing straight up this indicates that the v/h movement is lined up. All of this can be done just by eying the Destroyer too.

However, once you line the ship up the sticks will indicate to pull them straight down which will pull the Destroyer down. It will take a few runs to finish this off though as it's a slow process.

BTW, just a little hint: it's easier to use Force Lightning to destroy the incoming Tie Fighters. Not only does this help you keep your energy up (as you recoup health), but you get to the Destroyer bits faster.

awesomeness! i'll give that a try and see how long it takes me to defeat the tie fighters.

also, i noticed that as i was collecting the holocrons throughout this particular level, they were not adding up in my holocron databank. is there any particular reason why?

Also stay behind the pillars. As the fighters get close to you jump and then zap 'em.

yea, i figured out the pillar part. it's the only place to really be and not get any damage from the tie fighters

thanks tipstaff! i just beat the game right now. i think imna play through it and get some of the other goodies i missed

there are some holocrons that i saw throughout the game, but i didn't get them because i didn't know how. like, in the level where i bring down the star cruiser, there's a long hall way that has a holocron all the way to the far left. how do i get that one? also, at the very beginning of Imperial Felucia, there's a holocron floating in the middle of the field just off set by some large mushrooms, but i can't even do the double-jump to get to it. any ideas on either of those two?

oh, another question.

now that i've beaten the game, can i go back and play all the levels on the harder difficulties?

bump, lol.

ok, so i've started playing the game again on the super hard difficulty...sith master i believe....and i'm having a super hard time with kazdus paratus. i've looked around and it seems that the best way to kill him is to electrocute him, and while he's paralized, to pick him up with force grab and slam him on the ground or against a wall. it seems to be working pretty well overall, but i still cannot defeat him. are there any other tricks out there besides that one to defeat this boss?

as for the junk titan that he summons, that part is pretty easy over all. just jump around him and electrocute him as needed basically.

Guys,
I know this is probably easy for most of you, but having trouble passing the first duel with the Rogue JEDI. I can weaken his power until there are just a few bars left. I then do the finishing move where he gets tossed up and down, but then he breaks out of it and recharges. Any suggestions?

how do i beat the 3rd boss on the hardest difficulty? i can't seem to beat her for the life of me!
